Hi-My wife and I are in Shanghai March 23 and 24th- looking for a hotel to rest and walk to downtown sites. Looking for suggestions that make for easier travel to and from airport. Sadly, this is all the time we have for such a wonderful city but we hope to get a brief look for a return trip. Thanks!

I think you could book a hotel around the People's Square/Nanjing Road, which could be reached from Pudong Airport by Maglev subway quickly. Or, you could have a hotel close to Jing'an Temple, where the airport shuttle bus Line 2 could be taken. What's more important, both of these two area are the most prosperous area of Shanghai, having convenient transportation to other parts of this city.
