About:Chengdu Travel

Hi,
my friends and i will travel to chengdu in mid of september for 8 days. we will arrive chengdu at 10.40pm, we plan to go Jiu Zhai Gou, go to see Panda and if enough of time mayb can go to Qing Cheng Shan. do u think it's that enough of time for us to go those places? or do u have any suggest itinerary for us?
isit possible and advisable that we rent a car to Jiu Zhai Gou right on the time when we arrive at Chengdu Airport? so that the time when we arrive Jiu Zhai Gou will be next day morning. will it be dangerous if we heading there during late night? and normally how much is the charges for the car rental? do we need to provide the accomodation for the driver? is there any tour guide needed when we travel in Jiu Zhai Gou? Normally how many days needs for travel in Jiu Zhai Gou? is that the accomodation and food is expensive in Jiu Zhai Gou? and what is the weather during mid september both in chengdu and Jiu Zhai Gou?

Yes, it is advisable to rent a car or taxi to Jiuzhaigou for there is only one bus everyday from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. It is much free to rent a van, but it is very expensive and it is too late at night and it takes ten hours from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. It is better at daytime. 8 days are enough for your stay in those places. If you are budget tranveler, I still suggest you stay one night in Chengdu and then go to Xinnanmen Bus Station nect day morning to Qingchengshan, at the same time buy the ticket to Jiuzhaigou the nect morning. It takes 1.5 hours to Qingchengshan and you can back to Chengdu the same day. Get to Jiuzhaigou the next morning, stay one or two nights in Jiuzhaigou, then back. Chengdu Panda Breeding Center has special bus line connected with Xinnanmen Bus Station too (Bus 902). So you can find a place to live nearby the bus station. If you insist to rent a van, It costs more than 1000yuan I guess, or more. You can negotiate the price with driver just about the single trip price and no need to provide accomodation for the driver. Food there is no cheap and mid september is good time to visit there. JIuzhaigou is cool, take jacket to keep warm.

my friend they only wan to choose for travel to either e mei shan or qing cheng shan only, for you which one is more worth for to go for it?

it's depend ur choice. if u go to the qingcheng MT u feel the taoist culture and the dujiang irrigation system.and the emei famose for the budhha and u can also visit the leshan giant budhha.it's huge.i am a tour guide so i recommend u visit emei MT and leshan giant budhha.it's just cost 2two days.the first day direct to the emei MT and have a night.and the next day visit the lesan giant .and then take bus go back chengdu .for the next day's travel.it's cost 2.5hours from chengdu to emei MT and just need 43RMB
