hi,I am going to Dalian from 22nd to 25th March, and would like to take a side trip to Harbin either before 22nd or after 25th March. Would like to know the best way to travel (air or train).Recommendation for a reasonably good hotel.Places to visit or things to do during the period (for about 3 days)What would be day & night temperature be.Thanks :-)

I think night train is good choice. It takes some 9 hours from Dalian and arrive at Harbin next morning.Not a very good time to visit Harbin at that time. No ice and snow and the weather is still cold. If you come earlier in March, you can consider to skiing.
