My husband and I are going to Beijing on 3/24/10 from Hong Kong. On the late evening of 3/27 we were planning to catch the taxi from Park Plaza near Forbidden City to Terminal 3 and stay at the 'paid-in lounge' as we will catch Air China Flt at 7:30 am flt on 3/28 for a 1 day excursion to Xian and will return at 11:20 pm. that nite. We were planning to stay at the 'paid-in lounge' again as we will catch Air China Flt at 9:30 am on 3/29 for Hong Kong. Can you please explain where the lounge is and what I need to do to go there? I'm planning to leave my bags at the Check In Luggage Lockers? when I go to Xian. Is that in the Restricted or Unrestricted area? When I return from Xian can I get my bags and take my luggage with me to the lounge as my flight does not leave until the morning and I'm assuming that I can check in only a few hours ahead? Then when I wake up I can grab something to eat and then go to the Check In counters? I would appreciate all the help you can provide me. I'm a little confused becaused I read somewhere that you need to Check In with the Airlines first before you can go to the 'paid-in lounge'..but how can I do that if the flight is not until the next morning?? I'm just trying to stay at Terminal 3 so that I don't have to wake up extra early .. Thank you,
