Hi

I am an Australian citizen and I wish to visit Shanghai for 1 day. But my passport expires in May. Can I still obtain advantage of the 48hr visa exemption?

yes, you can enjoy this privilege if you hold valid passports, visas for the onward countries, final destination tickets and have booked seats. The passport is not required for at least 6 months remaining valiidty for transit in Shanghai.
