About:Taizhou Travel

We may be moving to Taizhou for an expatriate job. I'm looking for websites to research the cost of living and private schools (have a 3yr old). Having difficulty locating any information in English and it would be helpful to have prior to negotiations. Job term is 4 years.

I can help you with a school for your 3yr old children. It is Seakids International Kindergarten within Taizhou city's Ocean World in 38, Guangchang Middle Road.

Hi there, I live in Taizhou. The cost of living is very cheap. Power here is about 200RNB/ month, food- depends on what you purchase and where you go to buy it. There are fruit and vegetable markets here which have fresh and cheap produce. The supermarkets can be a little darer. The clothes range from 15RNB- 2500, the average is around 50RNB. You can get discounts sometimes. A really good school to teach English is C.Long Education. The teachers are all foriengers (from USA, Australia...) who expand vocabulary. There's an English pub (owned by an English man) here too if you need to talk to a forienger. :)
