I am a Pakistani national working for Honeywell International (on H1 work visa) and need to visit China for work related issues. But while applying for a Chinese visa, I was informed by Honeywell lawyers that China is not granting visas to Pakistani nationals working in the US.

Could you kindly confirm this for me?

As I know that Pakistanis have to apply for Chinese visa in Pakistan.

I was actually able to apply through the Chicago Consulate. Got the visa in 2 weeks.
