Hi, I will be arriving to Chengdu on February 26 to March 2, 2010.I will be travelling alone and have no idea about the place is and I dont speak Chinese at all. My questions are:1. Where do I have to start my tour? And where can I join a tour there and to Jiuzhaigou?2. Is it safe to travel alone for a woman there?3. HOw is the weather during that period?If anyone can help, I really appreciate it.Thanks alot.

Hi, You can get around Chengdu and then get to the city's tourist Hub to find buses to Jiuzhaigou, which takes about 10 hours. Yse, it is safe to travel alone. Perhaps you can boos a tour online for just Chengdu-JiuzhaigouIt is still cold in Jiuzhaigou at time time. It may snow there. Take warm clothes.

If u dont speak chinese, u can take up the English speaking tour guide group. U can start your tour within Chengdu city & travel to JiuZhaiGou. It is pretty safe to travel alone but u may have to share room with another female if u follow tour. Weather is between 5*C-12*C in end Feb.

i think it's better travel by urself.coz u can handle and control by urself.u will have free time to sightseeing.if u joi  a tour u will ask share room with a female and always shopping by the tour guide.if u hire a private tour guide will be betetr.and it's not expensive.
