About:China Tourist Visa

I will be going to China on the last stop of a 4 country trip (Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and China). I will have 5 free pages in my passport when I leave for this trip and I know that Vietnam and Laos will take up a full page of my passport each. So I should have 3 free pages or 2 and a half (if Thailand decides to stamp on a blank page). Will this be enough to enter the country? I am inquiring now because I am in Korea for the next two months and so if needed I can get a new passport here (although it is very expensive and not very accomodating to my work schedule).

There is every chance that Vietnam and Laos will want to stamp opposite their visa. I would not take the chance but apply for a new passport.
