Hello, we are visiting Beijing for the firat time and hoping someone can answer a couple of questions for us;What bus to catch from Beijing Saga Hostel, Hijiahutong, Chaoyang, Dongcheng toMutianyu Great Wall and then to Ming Tombs on way back, and approximately the cost of this tripIs it best if we buy a 3 day tourist transit pass or the regular pass?Thank you in advance for any help given.Julie

Hello Ms.Julie:There is no direct bus from Beijing Saga Hostel to Mutianyu Great Wall. First,you can take bus No.24 from Lumicang to Dongzhimen, and then take bus No.916 to Huairou beidajie. Then you still need to hire a taxi(RMB 50) to Mutianyu Great Wall. It is a little complicated to arrive at Dingling. Time is not enough if you take a bus there. You'd better find another day.A 3 day tourist transit pass is available.

Hi Julie, the journey will be about 2~2.5 hours from downtown Beijing to Mutianyu.
