About:Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

Hi. I will be arriving Pudong Airport at 2345hrs in which case there will be no available bus to Shanghai City, I read. So I'm thinking of taking the Pudong-Hongqiao airport bus since this waits for the last flight, I understand. I then intend to take a much shorter taxi ride to Shanghai City. Can you please tell me the viability of such a route and the cost involved. Many thanks.

Well, you could take the night shuttle bus to Hongqiao, the fare is CNY30. Then, it will take you about CNY50 to get to downtown Shanghai by taxi.

Yes, you can take the airport night line and get off the bus at the nearest stop to your destination. The ticket fare is around 20 yuan, depending on where you are dropping off. Taxi fare is CNY16 for the first 3 km, CNY3.1 for every succeeding km within 10 km. You can calculate the taxi fare according to the distance.
