A group of elderly Malaysians hope to visit Beijing in October next year . We are thinking of going up Simatai by cable car and toboggan and then make our way SLOWLY taking frequent stops up to the 12th tower before returning by cable car . Is it feasible? If that is still too tough for old people what other section of the Great Wall would you recommend ( where the scenery is great and tourists are few.) Thank you very much.

Simaitai is really not proper for elders. You may consider Mutianyu section, which is also fabulous and with less travelers.
