About:Chengdu Travel

Dear Travelchina,

I made a mistake of booking my flight to Chengdu and back to Malaysia within 6 days.
I did not know that Jiuzhaigou is 400km away from Chengdu . And I did not know that
the flight from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou costs even more than twice my flight from Malaysia
to Chengdu.

So, I have decided to give Jiuzhaigou the miss this time.

WE will just stay in Chengdu and nearer surroundings for the 6 days.

But is there anything really worth seeing in Chengdu apart from our beloved Pandas?

Is there enough attractions in Chengdu for 6 days?

Kindly advise us?

Hi, I think you could spend two days in Emei Mountain and Leshan Buddha, which could be reach from Chengdu by bus easily. Then, the rest 4 days to explore Chengdu, where many interesting places are waiting for you. Dear Traveller,
I have been Jiuzhai Gou before, i know is very far from Chengdu city, is need take 8 hours to reach Jiuzhagou,,,but in current wether is very cold in december.. is not better timefor visit..i will planning to visit chengdu, and following destinantion is Tibet...and border of tibet,,,bhutan, napel,
who will wanna join me? but i will not take flight coming back Malaysia,, i will goiung to South...Laos and Thailand,,then back to Malaysia...I calcalated need 1 months in this trips.

Im planning to go to Chengdu in march 2010. am also planning to go to jiuzhaigau but are u sure the flight fare is expensive?

if so, i need to change plan thn. hows other places
