About:Jiuzhaigou Travel Tips

hoping to visit Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong late April or May 2010 and then on to Tibet.
have read some scary stories about the roads into Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong, are they well maintained and how long would the bus be climbing up steep winding roads. are there many accidents

Please take it easy that it is safe to take a bus from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. There are regular coaches departing to Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu everyday. The journey is about 10 hours.

Alternatively, you could take a flight from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou in 2 hours easily.
