About:Beijing Capital International Airport

Dear Mr. Shan,

I am going back from Japan to my home country (Myanmar) via Air China and transit at Beijing. I will get 20 hours. Can I go out for a short sight-seeing? Will I be issued an arrival visa for that purpose? If I cannot go out of airport, is there a transit hotel inside the airport? The flight will arrive at Beijing at 13:30 and depart 8:00 am next day. Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Nyan

Mr.Nyan, The truly transit passengers who hold onward tickets do not require a visa provided that they stay in the transit area and depart within 24 hours. It seems that you will just stop over in Beijing, and if you would like to go out of the airport, you need to apply for a Chinese Visa in advance, and it could not be issued on arrival.
Besides, the hourly lounge in T3 beside No. 10 entrance (tel: 0086-010-64532621) is available for international transit passengers, you could rent a room in The Hourly Lounge.
