I plan to visit Guilin early February 2010. Please advise is it better to travel by bus or train from Shenzhen to Guilin. Can anyone recommend any place to go for sightseeing and how many days do I need to stay in Guilin to cover these place comfortably.

Currently, there is only one train from Shenzhen to Guilin, taking 13 hours on the way. And the bus also takes no less than 10 hours. It is suggested that you fly to Guilin, which is much convenient.

There are many good sightseeings in Guilin, you could spend 3~5 days to visit them one by one. Here is a list: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/guangxi/guilin/ You could also spend one or two days in Yangshuo.
