About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Hello,

I came into China on a multiple-entry, 60-day one year L visa. My new job at New Oriental told me they could arrange a Z visa for me, so when my 60 days were up, instead of leaving the country, I extended my L-visa for one month, which effectively cancelled my old visa. Now my HR contact has not been giving me straight answers, and last told me that it is not possible for me to get my visa in Hong Kong. My new one-month L-visa is up 12/5/09. She is suggesting I go through a visa agent. What's up with New Oriental? Is this problem normal?

Thank you!!

Mr.Beau, I'm a little confused, do you want to apply for Chinese Z visa in China, or do you want to apply for Z visa to New Oriental?
