Hi, My friend suggested that we go to Hainan Island during the Chinese New Year holiday week. Can you advise if :1. this is a good time to visit for a holiday and for photography? 2. will there be places to shop, wine and dine during this festival?3. would the island be very crowded at this time?Would love to hear from you. 1. yes, it is the best time to visit Hainan while the other part of China is controlled by cold air. The weather will be very comfortable in Hainan. You could take pictures of the blue sky, sea and soft beaches, etc.2. compared with these cities in inland China, Hainan is not an ideal places for shopping. But, these luxurious star-rated hotels in Sanya could supply everything what you need. It is said that most of the best hotels of China are locatde in Sanya.3. yes, you will find much more travelers here during the festival than other times. But everyone will be satisfied with his time in Hainan.
