hi there, i am staying at Beijing Hutong Inn Zaoyuanju: 17 Zhangwang Hutong Jiugu, Jiu Gulou Dajie, Dongcheng District, Beijing, China which subway station (line no.?) is nearest to this place? any1 stayed there before? any feedback? thks

The nearest subway is line 2, walk along the Jiugulou dajie for 400 meters. I heard that is a good Hutong hotel for backpackers.

thks ms kaye, would you know from the station do we exit left or right or any sign that we shd look out for cos from the map, the station is in between the Jiuguloudajie

Walk out from the Exit B (southwest). You will easily find Jiugulou dajie and walk southward for 400 meters. Then you will see the sign “Zhangwang Hutong” and turn left.

any nice ski resort in beijing? which can go and be back within a day? is it costly? thks

I only heard two ski resorts: one is beside the Badaling, the other is Qiaobo Ice and Snow World in Shunyi. You can choose the charge by hour or by day. It is a little costly.
