Question

About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I asked some questions and received answers but need some clarification. Oh, and I am American living in the US, not Afghanistan. Do I have to have a job lined up in China to get a work visa before I go? or should I just get a tourist visa and get a work visa once I find a job? How long can I stay with a work visa? and I have to have a round-trip ticket? Thank you very much.

Any foreigner should have and offer in hand before applying for a China work visa, since you need to ask your employer in China to provide you China work permit and visa notice form for your China work visa application.
The duration of your work visa depends on your employment contract.
Round-trip ticket is not required for China work visa application.
