I understand the Badaling Wall is not the best place to visit, that is really is not part of the oringinal wall and has a circus like atmosphere i.e. carnival type rides, etc.  Can you verify this and if so do any of your tours go to an original part of the wall.  We are interested the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Great Wall (how long there), Terracotta Warriors.  There are four of us.

Badaling is the best preserved and most popular section of the great wall. It is the first part of the great wall open for tourists. We should admit that it is the most splendid part of the great wall. But if you want to visit some more orginal part, I would recommend the Jinshanling and Simatai sections for you. I should remind you that these two sections are almost dilapidated and very dangerous to hike through. You have to take your physical condition and safety into consideration.
