About:Chinese Consulate in New York

Coming winter I am going to visit Hong Kong after entering China and back China again, and I understand I need visa with two entries. From last visit I have one entry left which is still valid and my question is if I just need to reapply another visa with one entry or I need to reapply a new visa with two entries because I heard while you reapply a new visa and all the old visas will be voided no matter if any unused entry is left.

Thanks a lot!

Ron

You are right that if you apply for a new visa, the old visa will expire automatically, so you should apply for a double entry visa.
