On the mountain, there is a hotel located on the East Peak (the Facing Sun Peak). If you do like, you can stay there. But I’d like to remind you that the hotel on the mountain is very expensive. Due to the limited condition, the facilities may not be compared with that of the downtown hotels with the similar price.

It takes around 1.5-2 hours to drive from the downtown of Xian to the foot of the Mt. Huashan for a single way. If you take the cable car, it will take about 7-8 minutes to reach the North Peak, from there, you climb for around 2.5-3 hours to reach the East Peak. Then, you can check in at the hotel on the East Peak.
