Is there any possibilities that I can travel to Malaysia, even my passport is still on process?

Hi! I'm from the Philippines. I just applied for passport and I paid for overtime fee, that is 10 working days for P750. I was really feel sad about it coz i thought they still have that 7 working days, and it is still posted at the back of the form. I applied on Novemeber 6, 2009 and I'm going to claim it on Nov. 20, 2009, since working days are weekdays only. Now, there's this big youth event, though I'm still not sure if I'm going to be chosen to be a representative there. It will be on Malaysia on November 15-18. Is there any possibilities that I can travel to Malaysia, even my passport is still on process? All I've got is a receipt to prove it. I know it's crazy to say this but I just want some clarification and that event, if I'll be chosen, is something that I shouldn't miss, unless.
Hoping to hear the answer from you soon. Thanks!

As I know, Malaysia visa not required for a stay of not more than one month for citizens of Philippines, For a stay exceeding one month, a Malaysia visa will be required, for citizens of Philippines. However, you can't go to Malaysia without your original passport.
