About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

is there any difference between smart card and IC card?
and can a tourist use the facility of smart card?
where to buy it?

They are the same. You could purchase the card from the ticket office at any subway station of Beijing. Then, you could use the card freely when takeing the city-bus or subway. Very easy!
