About:China Consulate in Houston

I am taking students on a trip China in April through Exploria. There will be between 6 & 12 of us. I need to get Visas for my students. We live in the Virgin Islands (St. John and St. Thomas). How do I get the Visas if I can't mail them in? Is there a discount for a group? We will also be going to Hong Kong. Is that a separate Visa also?
Thanks

You can apply for the visa from the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Uk by post.
British Virgin Island passport holders are exempt of visa to Hk for 90 days.
