Hi, im travelling to taiwan 19-26, knowing the weather will be cold, how is the temperature? i read some comment here saying that the shopping is good around christmas, is it true? im so happy! and knowing the taiwanese doesnt celebrate christmas but is there any christmas deco? Im intend to go Alishan as well, as per news the thypoon effect the road going up to Alishan, is the road being fixed? or we are still cant go to Alishan on Dec? is there any other transport instead of bus? what about train? TQ for ur kind reply!

You may need a thin sweater in Taiwan in Dec. The average temperature could keep around 10C, so not chilly at all. Although Christmas is not a traditional fetival, most of locals celerate it all the same. The departimet stores, shops and restaurant will have many promotion. The streets will be decorated nicely around the Christmas.
