About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Hi, I am holding an Australia passport. I am currently in China, visiting my fiance, arrived in China on the 26th of September, my visa expires in 60 days. Can I extend my visa till the end of January? how can I apply?
later on, if I want to apply for a working visa, can I apply in China? what documents do I need? Thanks. lena

Is it an L tourist visa?

L visas can be extended twice, 30 days for each time. But the new visa is normally calculated from the application date. Thus you can extend it right before the 60 days expire.

Or you can have it converted to an F business visa by a visa agent.
