Hello Ms. Amanda and everyone,

Thank you to Amanda for reply. I am not a holder of Swiss passport, I have the passport of the 3rd countries (Moldova), and I know sure I need visa for H.K., just I am not sure for which should I apply. I will repeat my question again, may be somebody will advise me.

4. If my air ticket is till Hong Kong and we will stay first 1-2 days in H.K., then we go to China by train (for 18 days)and after all we will come back to Hong Kong for taking the airplane to come back home. What kind of visa should I apply for H.K. ??

And as for the refusing of the visa (in case to my husband they open and to me no), why, you Amanda so sure (your reply was "yes"? If everything is OK with the doc, and we are living in Switzerland !!

It is a bussiness trip, we go there with a purpose, and we have everything booked (hotel, air tickets with a fix dates), so why not ?

Thank you in advance.
regards,
Victoria.

Mrs.Victoria, I feel you are irritated. I also have the similar situation as you. I submit all required documents to embassy (including my original passport) for Chinese business visa (not hong kong visa), however, when I pick up my visa and paspsort on the date stated on the pick-up receipt, the visa officer told me that my application was denied. I ask for the reason, they don't answer me. At that time, I want to hit them. The visa is totally up to the subjective judgement of visa officers, there is no reason at all. I suggest you send your hong kong visa application directly to the immigration department of HKSAR.
