About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Hi

Im a permanent citizen in Hong Kong. I was born there. I would like to know if I need a work visa to work in Shanghai? I should be able to work anywhere in my own country right? Im not quite sure about this since we are a special administrative region. Please advice. Thank you. Best regards
