About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

I will be arriving at BCIA T3 on a Sat late afternoon at about 6pm and will have to make my way to North Garden Hotel in Wangfujing. I was thinking of taking a taxi initially from the airport but am afraid that Sat nite traffic at Wangfujing area will be a nightmare with traffic jams and long travel time. Would it be more convenient to take the express train then switch to subway line 2 then 1 to Wangfujing Station? I will be quite mobile with a medium size rollable lugguage and hand carry

Yes, you are right. Recommend you go by airport express train and subway. The train will take you to Dongzhimen, then you can shift to Subway Line 2 to Jianguomen then change to Line 1 to Wangfujing. Get out from Northeast gate and walk north along Wangfujing Dajie. You can see find your hotel very soon.:-)

Thank you Miss Cindy for your response.
But I was reading that I will have to x-ray my luggage when I try to enter the Line 2 Station and also at Line 1? Won't that be inconvenient also?

Hello Mr.Kwok
Your luggage will be checked only once when you first enter the subway. You needn't go to the security-check point again in the following transfer station until get out. It is convenient.
