About:Embassy & Consulates of Germany in China

Good morning,
I work for a UK company and we are arranging a business trip for some Chinese nationals to the UK and Germany. I am sending invitation letters to all the delegates to support their visa application at the Germany embassy in Beijing. Do the invitation letters need to include the person's passport details or is it ok without?

Thank you very much for your assistance.
