1) You can apply for it from Consulate General of China in Mumbai
2) Applicants should fill in one visa application form accurately and appropriately with one recent passport size photograph. Applicant's passport should be valid for at least six months with two blank visa pages. Original Visa notification letter from relevant authorities in China. Covering letter from applicant's company or office. Confirmed return flight ticket and its photocopy. Hotel booking information.
3) Office Hours for visa application: 10:00-12:00, Monday-Friday (except holidays)
4) You can download the visa application form from https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/visa-application.pdf
5) If you apply from Mumbai, you can directly send your application to the consualte. you'd better read the information on the website https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/india.htm then you will know who must submit application to Chinese Visa Application Service Center
