Hi, I am going to Hong Kong and Macau during Christmas break and will spend 2 days in Macau with my husband and 3yo sons. Please advise is there any day in December that due to public holiday  may result in closing most of the shops ? I still unsure which hotel I am going to stay but can you recommend me in which area that I can stay a night that close to shop until late ?where is a new Yaohan now ?How much approximately to go around at Macau (Ruins of St Paul, Largo Do Senado to Ama temple and Penha Hills)for bus or taxi. the next day I also will go to venetian Hotel from Largo Do Senado (how much is going to cost for bus or taxi). what is the temperature approx during Christmas time. Thanking you in advanced for the advice.

Most shops are close earier at Christmas Eve. New Yaohan is near the Hotel Grand Lisboa, not far away from Macau's Ferry Terminal. Averge temperature in Dec is about 16C. Take Bus 26A (about 5-6 MOP) from Largo Do Senado to Venetian. Take taxi, it should be some 40MOP.
