About:Shanghai Travel

Hi, i will be coming to shanghai during 2nd to 5th oct which i heard that it is a bad timing as it is the golden week. I will be staying in a hotel in nanjing lu, can anyone advice me on the situation as it is gonna be my first time to shanghai. What places to go or what places to avoid and what mode of transport should i use, taxi, train, and what's metro? hope someone can help me with my worries. thanks

The hotel os well located. You can walk to the Bund, Jing'an Temple and People's Square, as well as the City God Temple (if you do not hurry). You can take Subway at Nanjing East Road or People's Square to Lujiazui, Pudong, or to Xujiahui for shopping. You need 30 minutes at least to Xintiandi. Or you can take Subway Line 1 at People's Square to Huangpi South Road. Then walk to Xin Tian Di for a few minutes.
