Hi, T225, K681, Z79 runs between beijing and dalian.Z79 is relatively better，as it is faster than other trains. The duration is about 10 hours and 30 minutes. The fare is 250 yuan for the hard sleeper and 380 yuan for the soft sleeper.

I have taken the overnight train from Beijing to Dalian.  Can say been there, done that.  In other words, I would rather pay the little bit extra to fly.  Only 500rmb to fly.  Avoid travel during National Holidays to avoid disappointment of delays.
