I'm afriad that you can't stay in China for 90-120 days. Generally, the tourist visa has 30 days stay duration. However, you can provide your itinerary and your planned stay in China on the visa application form, you'd better provide the certificate for your long travel in China. The final decision is up to the visa officers.

Initially you can try to apply for a longer DURATION OF EACH STAY visa in the Chinese embassy/consulate. After entering China mainland, right before it expires, you can have it extended twice, 30 days for each time.

Pay attention: the new visa is normally calculated from the application, instead of your present visa expiration date.
