About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

This is my situation. I have a L Tourist visa issued from Los Angeles. On my visa application I said my first possible entry into China would be the 20th of September. However, I have found a cheaper plane ticket, and if I buy this ticket and use it -- it is for Sept. 17th -- do I risk getting in trouble with the Chinese authorities for arriving in China too early?

The validity of the visa starts from the day of its issue. If you get the visa before Sep 17, it is ok that you enter China ahead of your scheduled date.
