Usually the hotels have oxygen tanks in the room. You can pay to buy it if you need it. After you arrive in Lhasa, you’d better spare one day to have a good rest without any activities, to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. Before you enter Tibet, you also need to consult your doctor to make sure you are healthy enough to visit there.

In May, the highest temperature is about 15 ℃ and the lowest temperature usually is minus 2 ℃ or 3 ℃. There is a sharp difference during the day time and night, so it’s good to bring some warm clothes.
