I have check with our local authorities and was informed that for Singapore citizen travelling to China, visa is not required. want to be double ensured!! tks

Yes, from September 19, 2008, Singaporean citizens holding ordinary passport restart enjoy the visa-free access to Mainland of China if they enter China for sightseeing for not more than 15 days.
