About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Hi- I am trying to go to Qingdao, China to start some business there with a few suppliers there. However before we start doing business, we would like to meet with them and study their products, processes and factories before signing into a business relationship.
As it is my first trip to China, the Chinese mission is Sri Lanka is requesting an Invitation Letter (from the Chinese company) and a Visa Notice (from Chinese Immigration in China) regarding my visit. It seeems that in order to get a Visa Notice letter I have to submit an Incumbancy Letter and a Contract Letter illustrating details of purchase and proof of a business relationship. If we do not have a business relationship in a ocntract letter, they will not issue a visa notice.

Is there another way to apply for a business visa into China?

Please help!!

Romesh
