do i need any transit visa when transit at giangzhou baiyun airport? howthe cost?

Dear Sir/MadamI am Syed Rashedul Hossen,a senior Assistant Secretary of the Govt. of Bangladesh. Recently I've got a Joint Japan/world Bank scholarship for 2 years to study at hiroshima university of japan.I've got my air ticket of china southern Airlines which shows a transit at GUANGZHOU(ONLY at the Baiyun intl.airport) in china.I am holding an official passport and my govt.made my service under deputation during this 2 yrs study period.1.Do I need any transit visa?2.If that, what kind of documents I have to present to get the transit visa? 3.In your website it is showed that for transit visa, anyone need to submit Visa of the country of destination and round air ticket but in my case I will back to bangladesh after 2 yrs, so the question of round ticket does not arise, doesn'nt that?4.What does it costs for a transit visa?(in case of official passport holder)5.How many days it usually required to get the transit visa after application?(in Bangladesh)6.Do I need to physically visit the embassy?Would u pl. be kind enough to let me clear about the above information?

You don't need to apply for a transit visa if you stay at Baiyun International Airport for less than 24 hours and don't leave the airport.

The faxed invitation letter will be bstter, but I think the attached copy is also ok, but China embassy in different place may have different policies, so I advise you confirm with the hotel before going to submit your application.
