About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I am a US citizen and have a ticket to Hong Kong and then will be travelling into China. I was told my visa was 130 HK dollars but I just found out it is 130 US dollars! I cannot afford this! I only have 400 dollars for a 21 day trip. Is there any way to get a cheaper visa? Can I ask the Chinese govt to give me a discount? I am a student and dont have very much money. This is so upsetting to find out because I have been dreaming of China for months now. Thank you.

It is 130 Us dollars. There isn't any way to get a cheaper visa. Meanwhile, you are not able to get the visa without enough money for your trip in China. The china embassy requires the applicants must have at least an amount of 100 us dollars per days for their stay in China.
