About:Mogao Caves

Very impressive! A must go if you are around the region.
Too bad we are only allowed access to limited caves at one time. The guide will usually bring you to about 10 caves, although you can wander off on your own to join the other guides. =)

Dear Mr Zellseowck,
We are Senior citizens..painter & photgrapher.
We are debating about which 2 caves we should visit out of 4 namely,1) Magao caves 2)Longmens caves 3) Yuangang caves in Datong & 4) Dazu caves.
We are not going to be in Dunhuang region..to see Magao caves we will have to make special trip from Xian...Dose it worth time & money ?
