I am hoping that you can help me. My girlfriend and I are traveling to China in October. We are traveling by train from europe across Russia and Mongolia. We understand that we need a Chinese Visa and have the required application completed. We are backpacking so our exact entrance date and exit date is not known. We do know that it will be mid October when we reach China and we will be there for approx 4 weeks training down through the country heading to Vietnam.

Is it possible to get a Chinees with out having flight/train/accomidation prebooked and also with out knowing the exact route you are going to take.
