About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hi,

I'm an American citizen and I have worked in Japan for 2 years. My contract is now expired and I changed my work visa to a Japanese tourist visa. I am flying to Beijing to visit and then to Texas. I will be staying with friends in beijing. What do I need to apply for a Chinese tourist visa? I still have my alien registration card.

Please help. Thank you so much.

I think a transit visa is much proper to you.
You have to submit the following documetns for your visa application:
1. Your passport with at lease 6 months validity and 2 blank pahges.
2. A truly ful-filled visa application form.
3. A certificate photo (3cm X 4cm).
4. Your Japanese registration card and the copy.
5. Your air ticket to Beijing, onward ait tickets to Texa.
