My friends in China tell me that it is less costly for me to arrange tours after I come to China.

I don’t think it is wise and cheaper to organize the tour so urgent upon arrival. I believe good preparation brings an easy trip. In this case, you do not need to worry about the reservations, and the only thing might be just enjoy the sightseeing.
