About:Kunming Travel

US citizen with a multiple entry visitor's visa and therefore must exit china once monthly.

Which countries (Vietnam? Laos? Thailand? other?) are most convenient for Kunming-entry to foreign country-back to Kunming "visa run"?

About how much $$$ must one spend to leave Kunming, exit China, and return?

How many days does this require?

Hi, Mr Humes. Yunan has border customs with Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. It seems the Hekou Boder to Vietnam is more convenient. It can be reached from Kunming in 5 hours. You can handle the visa in Kunming and the visa fee varies. It costs more if you want it in shorter time. Nearly 200RMB if you do not have problem on time requested, 3-5 working days.
