Question

Hey,I am teaching in Zhoukou for a year starting in September. I was wondering if anyone could give me some idea of what its like.To make things less vague, I am interested in:- Living standard- Daily activities of the people there (sports, nightlife, parks, etc.)- Air quality- Favourite local cuisine (I am half chinese and would like to know what the local cuisine is like, ie. spicy, sweet, etc.)- Accessibility to other cities (Shanghai and Beijing in particular)Thanks a lot!

Zhoukou has lower living standard. I can help you with the distance to other cities. It is over 1000km from Shanghai by railway, and no direct train from Zhoulou to Shanghai. It is 895km to Beijing (West Railway Station) by train. It is 180km (about 2 hours by bus) from the capital city of Henan, Zhengzhou. Nearly 300km from Luoyang City, 3.5 hours by bus.
