About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hello! I am an American citizen and currently in Korea on a C4 (90 day Visa) and would like to go straight from here to China. Is it possible to obtain a Visa while in Korea, or do I have to go back to my U.S. Atlanta, GA Consulate that is assigned to my state of residence (FL)? Second, where can I get the health examination for foreignor done while in Korea? Is that also acceptable, to have that done in Korea? Thank you in advance.

Ms. Lucy, yes, you can apply for a China visa in South Korea, can you tell me what type of Chinese visa you will apply? work visa or student visa? If you will stay in China for more than 6 months, you will need the Physical Examination Record issued by an authorized hospital in South Korea. Otherwise, you don't need to have it.

Oh wow, you're quick! I will apply for the Z Visa. I heard I need the Examination. Do you know how long it takes, where I can get it done (while here in Korea lol) and how much it is? lol Sorry, that was a FEW questions. Thanks for your help!

Actually, here's another question. Sorry. Do I need a TESOL certificate to apply for the Z Visa if I have my original BA diploma? And just to confirm, I don't need transcripts and a background check, correct?? Thanks. lol

Your BA diploma is ok for the Chian Z visa application. Yes, you don't need the transcripts and background check.

Dear, Lucy, you can get the authorized hospitals on the official website of the China embassy in South Korea
http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/ce/cekor/kor/lshyw/lsk_qz/ls_qz_by/t234463.htm
However, it is in Korean. As for the time and fee, you have to call the hospitals to get the exact answer.
